Yes, this book is dated, but even if I went back in time to when this book was released inI still can’t imagine the necessity for such word repetition. I almost dropped a star because there is some extraneous material here that could have been excised and the mind-blowing story would not have suffered, but I savored every one of the words, so I feel that would be wrong.

That was interesting, and Melanie’s scenes damn near steal carrrion book. This book is about people with mind control abilities of different strengths. No trivia or quizzes yet.

World Fantasy Award for Best Novel I’m no stranger to big books, I am a King fan after all, but this one felt particularly long. Anyhow, four stars is still four stars and a worthy horror novel. Simmons has been added to my list of authors I need to read. It’s heart-breaking, raw, powerful, stomach-turning, violent, gory, just absolutely mad.


I want to see what he does with some historical fiction. Is revenge a moral justification?
