If you have a good imagination and enjoy fantasy literature, this series and especially this book is a winner! In what order should I read the series?

Magician’s Nephew is actually 6 in a series of 7, magl it’s a prequel to the entire series. Are you a frequent reader or book collector? As an adult, I now see the parallels to the bible, and the messages it is intending to teach. I bought this book to help myself learn Spanish, and it serves very well because the vocabulary, while evocative, is also fairly simple.

The translation is excellent as well. Did anyone else read this as the first book? But I am so glad I re-read this again dobrino aside from giving it another star, It is a little darker than the other Narnia books, but it still has the old sweet scent of Narni I can’t remember the last time I read The Magician’s Nephew – I had skipped through the other CON over the years, but never TMN – it was my least favorite and it scared me when I was small perhaps because I first listened to it as an audio drama, where creepy music and voices were used from Jadis and occasionally Uncle Andrew.
