Bergman, the teams tech man, is clueless when it comes to the advances of a more mature woman who has her eyes set on the tech genius and in the end he surprises me by showing a darker side I didn’t know he had. Although he has made brief appearances in the earlier books this has mainly been in the form of flashbacks so it was nice to get to “meet” him properly.

The story line in this one runs really smooth, and there is a lot of kick-ass in this one. Venom in the Veins. Book six in the Jaz Parks sequence. Want to Read saving….

I also love watching the developing relationship between Jaz and Vayl. This book had a whole lot going on.

The fight scenes could be easily removed with no problems to comprehension and plot. Book 6 in the Jaz Parks series, set in of all places, Canberra.

I also have difficulty figuring out the world this takes place in, we don’t find things out until some random fact it thrown in and we have to believe it has always I think I’ve figured out what bothers me about this series, despite the fact that I enjoy it.

Vahl and Jasamine are making quite the romance; the rendezvous are also short a Jennifer Rardin never disappoints and always leaves me craving more.

Biting the Bullet

That being said, little green men did not come down from Mars, I still enjoyed the story. I’m hoping that we’ll get to see more of him in the future books because Jaz really needs his help if she is ever going to deal with her very messy past and be able to move forwards with her life. And some scenes were kind of nasty, like gnome larvae exploding everywhere out of a body.

I loved the story completely but knowing this and the last Jaz book are the last books I will ever read by Jennifer saddens me. I’m Lucille Robinson aka Jaz Parks. Can’t wait for the next book. Cole confesses his love to Jaz and blackmails her into a date with him. How are they giving constant updates to the Wizard with no one knowing. He lost his connection to Jennufer and only when she really needed his help and he didn’t come did he finally realise how close he was to losing her.

However it was more of a grudging three stars and not a favourite book in the series. I loved it and cannot wait to read Bitten In Two.
